Remember when Jacqueline Kennedy ushered in a new era in women's fashions by wearing a squash heel because she was tall and conscientious about appearing too tall beside her husband, the President? And then, tennis shoes became politally correct for every one whether they fled from riot police in the 60's or not.
Well, here we are again, 2010, limiting the path that women may tread by selling spike heels to fashion conscious young women. I am reluctant to say we have come full circle because heels are not the beginning of footwear for anyone. High Heels have become iconic to our era (or is it our error). Can't say I own a pair, but can say I have una.
